Osteopathy

Osteopaths take a detailed history and physical examination to diagnose then use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to treat a range of musculoskeletal problems.

Musculoskeletal acupuncture

Our practitioners use acupuncture to treat joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons aimed at reducing inflammation, muscle spasm and increasing localised circulation. This form of acupuncture is usually used as a compliment to other musculoskeletal therapies such as osteopathy and physiotherapy.

Georgia graduated with a Masters degree from the European School of Osteopathy in 2016. She has trained in both structural and cranial osteopathy, and has experience treating anyone from adults to young children for a wide range of complaints.

Her special interests are long term, arthritic conditions, and loves to work with those who are stuck in the void between ineffective painkillers and trying to avoid joint replacement surgeries. She also has postgraduate training in treating shoulder problems, and a sports massage qualification which she incorporates into her treatments.

Having recently relocated to Corbridge from Northamptonshire, Georgia looks forward to learning all about the local area from her patients, while getting them back on the road to recovery!
